Cloverfield - Unappreciated

For some reason this amazing movie has been very unappreciated; and I don't know why! I mean have you ever seen a movie with such good effects and have the entire movie look like someone shot it with they're camcorder? I know Paranormal Activity took a shot at doing this and they epicly failed at making one fourth of a decent movie. I don't know I just think this movie should've won a teen choice award or something. And yes I know it did get a Saturn Award for best Sci-fi film in 2008, but it also won 2nd place for a Chainsaw Award in '09 for WORST FILM! Anyway here is my favorite quote from the film:

Hud: Are you okay?
Marlena Diamond: You tell me. How does it look?
[Hud sees Marlena's bloody back shoulder]
Hud: It looks like it hurts.
Marlena Diamond: What do you mean? Are you saying this isn't attractive at all?
Hud: A little bit.

P.S. A Cloverfield sequel has been anounced as "in production," and to hit theaters 2012. I think they're just messing with my head like they did with that other The Lord of the Rings movie: The Hobbit (which I am very much sure that they're not going to make).
